Hello, today I'm going to talk about how do I use affiliate marketing with Quora. Quora is a question and answer site just like Yahoo Answers. 

There is 1 rule when it comes to affiliate marketing do you have any idea what that rule is? It is always be growing your list. Everything you do is to build your list. 

It's the same with Quora. The first step is to create a profile and put a picture of your face on the profile. In fact a picture of your face should be a requirement for every social site you create. 

In your bio what do you want to put down? You got it, you want to use it to build your list. With your profile you can post a link and do whatever you can to drive curiosity. Curiosity is one of our best weapons.  This is the first way to use Quora for affiliate marketing. 

What I really like about Quora is that it can give you ideas on what to create content about. Content meaning articles, ebooks, posts, videos and sound files like a podcast. 

You could type in keywords in the search bar for your industry. These questions are what people in your industry want to know. You could put the question in quotes around Google and see how many pages come up? Are there YouTube videos? 

Instead of just answering the question you could create content around the question and leverage your time as much as possible. 

What you don't want to do is answer the question and direct people to your bio or profile for more information. I did this a few times and noticed a moderator deleting my questions. It's too much of a pitch. 

You also don't want to put in any affiliate links, squeeze page links or have it be to promotional. With Quora it's better to be a little bit more of a ninja. 

What I do and this works for me in Quora is answer the question and then I'll share a YouTube video I created about the question for more details. 

That YouTube video just stands out, it helps it get views. In the YouTube video I can promote my link to build my list. If you don't want to create a video you could write a short article on a blog and put the link to the blog on your post. 

If you don't have a blog there are tons of platforms you can use like Medium, Linkedin Articles, Blogger and many others. 

The plan with Quora is just to be as helpful as you can. Very short answers are not good, but then again you shouldn't include irrelevant stuff just to make your post longer. 

Another cool thing you can do with Quora is find similar question and just post the same answer to them. Now you can change a few parts to your answer, as long as your helpful. 

With Quora many questions are asked over and over again, just in different ways. So instead of just creating a post for 1 answer you can use the post to answer many other answers and thus get seen more. 

It's all about using the most leverage to get more done in less time. 

Another way is with Quora spaces. Quora used to have a blog and now they changed it to spaces and it's very similar to groups for Facebook or Linkedin. 

What you want to do is join spaces that are in your niche. How you do this is go up to the search bar and type in keywords associated to the industry you are in. On the left hand side it will say by type and you want to click on spaces. 

Another way to brainstorm spaces or groups to join is with displaypurposes. Display purposes is a website that generates hashtags for Instagram. However it's a great tool to brainstorm similar keywords that people use.
