Earlier today, on Eusebius's show, the organiser of a go-slow by about 28 schools in Johannesburg, Charis Pretorius, expressed her disgruntled feelings over the way School Governing Bodies operate and function in some of the schools. Last week, learning and teaching was disrupted following a demonstration by community members over the appointment of a black principal. They claim that the process of appointing the headmaster was flawed.
