Hello, and welcome back to the Lifepreneur podcast. Thank you for being here. I'm super excited in this series to be talking to you about how you can create your ultimate success identity.

So what even is that it's a framework that I have designed after working with hundreds of business owners over the last couple of years and realizing that actually we need to turn things on its head, my personal experience and the experience that I see a lot of my clients having is that we've all been driven to create or buy into strategies, a strategy to build our emailing list, a strategy, to create a, a fully booked diary, a strategy to sell a strategy, to create content strategy after strategy, but my personal experience again, and from what I see is actually that framework's upside down before we can fully engage in and take on board a strategy towards success.

The foundation of success is identity

We need to realize that the foundation of our success at all points in our life is creating our identity. That allows us to be the person that we need to need to be, to do the things that we need to do to have those things that we want to have. And so I'm gonna talk to you through this series about how my framework helps you create your ultimate success identity in three basic steps. Over a period of time, I actually facilitate this transformation in my life printer academy. It's a seven month program that takes people through every stage of creating their ultimate success ID so that they can create their life of purpose, passion, and profit, because let's be honest, none of us wanna be in business to not make money. None of us wanna be in business to make money in a way that doesn't feel great.

We want it to get us out of bed

None of us wanna be in a business that doesn't want us getting outta bed in the morning. And that's where I was. And that's why I do what I do today because my first five years in business were nothing sure of an emotional and physical hell. And this is where I wanna start today with the first stage of creating your ultimate success. Success identity is your mindset. As we go through today's podcast, I'm gonna be giving you some quotes and some parts of a book that I'm reading at the moment that I think is really gonna help you. Because what I know to be true is one of the biggest limiting beliefs I see with people in their set up, it's setting up in their business and trying to take their ni their life to the next level is that they have an inability to see past their current belief system.

Vision Boards Can Wreck Our Motivation

So what that means is, and, and maybe some of you've experienced that maybe you've been to a convention, maybe you've been to a workshop and you are told, right, let's do a vision board. Let's write down what our dream life looks like, so that we can, we can reverse engineer how much money we need to make. And I remember this happening to me at an event back in 2012, and we had to sit down, there's about 300 people in this room, and everyone was busy writing away their, their dream lifestyle, the holidays they wanted to go on and the cars they wanted to drive and the, and the amount of people they wanted working for them and, you know, the experiences they wanted to have and the charities they wanted to set up. And in that moment, I felt like a complete fraud because my ambition was just to get a couple of clients.

I didn't want to have to buy my kids 2nd hand school uniform

My ambition was, I didn't wanna be financially dependent on my husband. My ambition was that for the first time, I wanted to be able to go to a shop and buy my children, their school clothes. Instead of going to the second hand box in the school reception, I couldn't even think about driving a really nice car or having amazing holidays or doing something that made a big impact on other people's lives. The only life that I could think about in that moment was my own and making my life more bearable, making my life a little bit easier to deal with when I looked at my bank account every month and I was never ever in credit. And so in that moment of feeling like a fraud, and I was being told to think about this massive life. I didn't know then what I knew now.

And it was just that I was functioning within a software system, a subconscious belief system that had been given to me throughout my upbringing, and that I had the ability to change that once I knew that, and it took me to 2015 to be introduced to that concept, everything changed me. And it's my intention in this series particularly, is to ask you to see beyond your current reality, to ask you just to be open to the concept, that there is a reality out there waiting for you that probably bears very little resemblance to your current reality, but is absolutely 100% achievable for you. And to the first thing, before we dive into the whole mindset aspect of the ultimate success identity, I want to share with you a quote that I heard yesterday, an event from Oprah. And this may trigger some of you because I will be honest if I'd have heard this five years ago, I would've felt like it's okay.

Start with Significance

If you Oprah, you're a multi BUM billionaire. You don't need to worry about paying the bills. And I would've felt like, you know, it is preaching to people that aren't at that level yet. What I know to be true now, because I've changed the way that I look at things. And I change the way that I investigate things is that it is up to us. The impact that something has when somebody imparts advice to you or shares something with you, their intention is often pure, pure of heart pure service, but our impact is defined by our own values, our own belief systems, our own experiences. So just better in mind as I give you this quote from Oprah, which, although I've only recently, literally yesterday, just heard it as I started living from this space and changing my, the energy around my business over the last 18 months, it has transformed everything for me, from the way that I show up for myself, the impact it's having on financially my business and the way in which I'm growing and scaling my business.

Everything has transformed exponentially from coming from this different energy space. So O Oprah says, don't worry about being successful, but work toward being significant and the success will follow. And what she means by that is when we are of significance, we are looking to positively impact other people's lives. But you know what I want to give you permission right now to, to be significant in your own life, to be the biggest influence on yourself and to believe moving forward from this moment on that there is a reality, an outcome, a life available to you that doesn't have to be a reflection of where you are now or in any way related to where you have come from.

How Can You Get Started?

So how do we really start to create that ultimate success identity? When right now you might be absorbed by feelings of anxiety and overwhelm and lack of worth and not, enoughness not specially enough, not clever enough, not qualified enough, not experienced enough, we've all done it. It's really easy in this day and age to get connected, to comparison and to believe something based on our own internal environment. And what I mean by that is when we get into comparison, we are making an assumption based on what we are visually seeing and experiencing, but we're experiencing that, that emotion from our own experience. So if we don't feel great about ourselves, if we've never really, if we don't believe we've got anything to be proud of, if we don't think that we're making enough progress, if we are always down on ourselves, everything that we judge comes from that space. So as you listen to this series, I would like to invite you to connect in and to drop the judgment, to put a new pair of eyes

In, to come from a space of a mindset that is open to suggestion that is open to a new way of thinking, because I'm gonna share with you an exercise towards the end of this, this episode that got given to me in 2015, which changed everything for me, absolutely everything. It was the first time that somebody had told me, Louise, you're not your thoughts. You're not your behaviors. And you can start to change them and change your life. And I will share that with you shortly. So in the life Panera academy, the seven month transformational program that will get you creating your life of purpose, passion, and profit. The first tier of our triangle, the foundation is you, it's the foundation of your identity and reclaiming your power identity, rediscovering the power that you were born with. We are all conscious creators. We have just been role modeled and, and molded into believing that it has to be a certain way that things have to be linear, that there has to be hard work.

Don't Start With Action

This action, action, action. My belief and my experience is that action that is carried on the back of powerful intention. And faith is transformational in creating a reality outside of what you can currently believe. Intention is the thing that carries you forward. When you are feeling a little bit rejected or you're feeling a little bit stuck. Intention is that success is the only outcome that you are willing to accept. Intention is Mo coming into a room and deciding that you will leave that room a better place when you go. So bear that in mind, we're setting the intention. Now that this short podcast is going to help you start to create your ultimate success identities so that you can be the person that you need to be to do the things that you need to do to have the things that you wanna have and create your life of purpose of passion and of profit, and to be significant, how powerful is that?

The Four Stages

So as we start working on the mindset, we take it through four stages. The four stages for are stages. And the first stage is raising awareness, raising awareness of when you are living within your subconscious programs, functioning within that software that was installed within you, mainly between the ages of zero and seven, but we can still make belief systems after that. And how do you do that? How do you raise that awareness? Well, the first thing you can do is have a look at what results have I got in my life right now, how good are my relationships? How passionate do I feel about getting up every morning and striving to my best day? How do I look after myself physically, mentally, and emotionally? Do I feel like I have a mission? Do I have purpose every day? What's my money. Like, do I have good finances? Am I looking forward to the future? Your results are a direct reflection of your actions. Your actions are a reflection of your beliefs and your beliefs are simply the thoughts that you have over and over and over and over again.

And you see, once we can raise awareness, once we become more conscious regularly throughout our day, we're able to ask ourselves, is this serving me? What am I believing right now? What's that internal conversation that I'm having in my head, I'll share with you right now that I was with a coaching client this morning. We're we're coaching buddies. So we coach each other. And I said to her, you know, I'm seeing this trigger come up again. And this trigger's been showing itself every five to six months for the last couple of years, and it's much less, but the trigger is comparison.

And I was aware of it yesterday. And as I went to sleep last night, I was thinking about where it might have come from. And I asked my younger self, I traveled a little bit down my timeline. I asked my younger self, what are this about? And I've got a very clear picture of the fact that because I'm a twin comparison was natural. You see, we were called the twins. And so the people separated us by comparing us comparing the way that we looked. I was always the one with a fat face, you know, comparing the fact that my twin sister was very, very clever, much more clever than me at school. My sister was naturally more talented at PE at, you know physical education. So I was always the Chub, less cleverer one. And now I can look back and see how I tried to make up for that.

The Same Lesson

By making people laugh by being a little bit louder because I needed to be seen. And isn't it interesting that 44 years later, sometimes that stuff still comes up, but it doesn't have to be the space from which I create anymore because I'm being conscious. I'm raising awareness of my internal conversation. So I can ask myself, is this serving me or is this holding me prisoner to a belief system? That's creating a reality that I really don't want. So that's the first stage of us starting to recreate our mind. The next step that our life preneur academy members go through is removal. We're use incredible tools like timeline therapy, EFT, which is emotional freedom technique, NLP to remove at root cause these destructive belief systems. Now some of you may not understand how this works, but let me just tell you something. That's true.

Beliefs Are Made Unconsciously

We make our beliefs unconsciously. We learn unconsciously. And if we use the example of fear of flying I had horrific fear of flying, which I believe became about from a particularly turbulent flight back in around, I think it was about 1999. I'm showing my age now. And in that moment I was suffering with depression. I was alone on this flight. I was coming back to an, a, a home environment that I didn't wanna come back to. I felt lonely and isolated, and it was a nighttime flight. And the plane was bumping around all over the place. And what happened in that moment was a traumatic experience with a powerful, emotional response. Bam, in that moment, I became scared of flying. I didn't choose to do that. The belief was installed unconsciously, but conversely, the other side can happen. You see, what can happen is that when we are eliciting a powerful and positive emotional state, and we have an experience again, we can change and install a new, powerful and positive belief system just as easily equally.

So using the tools I've just described to you, we can go into our timelines, we can go into our energy bodies. We can go into our mindset and we can remove at root cause these belief systems that are keeping us in a straight jacket of a life that does not philosophy, joy and passion and fulfillment. I know because that's how my last, my life started to change. So let me take you back briefly to the exercise so that I remember to give this exercise to you. So it was 2015, it was about March, April, 2015. I had just moved into my brand new, personal training studio. I was earning great money before that. I had been a single parent claiming benefits. I was working once I stopped claiming benefits. When I met my, my husband. I got a job in office because we couldn't afford to be not be working.

The Money Didn't Change My Emotions

And I was earning seven pound 50 an hour to start with. I think I got a pay rise to nine by the time I'd left seven years later and I was taking home 700 pound a month for 80 hours work. And I found myself in this personal training studio and I chose personal training cause I'd suffered with eating disorders and body image issues for most of my life. And I was earning somewhere between four to 5,000 plus pounds a month. And I should have been ecstatic. I was doing something that I loved. I was helping people love themselves. I was earning great money, but I was depressed. I was anxious. I was fearful and I was drinking an awful lot of wine so that I could sleep. And so that I could feel okay, just for the few hours that I was awake. And I was thinking, this doesn't feel like success.

Why is, why does this not feel successful to me? What is this inces conversation in my head about fear and about judgment and about not being enough and why does money feel so bad to me? And I reached out to a group that I was in at the time and I said, I need to give this stuff up. It's killing me. I can't function properly. I don't know who I am. I feel, I feel like I've been taken over by some monster in my head. And, and that's what it felt like day by day. It was this monster in my head, this conversation just constantly telling me that I wasn't good enough. I needed to work harder that I was, that I was frauded. And I, nobody understood that nobody could understand why I wasn't happy. And this dear woman reached out to me and she said, I'm going to help you.

YOU ARE NOT YOUR THOUGHTS

And she started coaching me for free once a week. And the first exercise she had me do was to separate myself from my thoughts. And this is what she told me to do. When you wake up in the morning, Louise, I want you to bust out your journal and just write down what you feel. So it is invariably, I'm feeling anxious. I'm feeling tired. I'm feeling angry. I'm feeling overwhelmed. I'm feeling lost. I'm feeling frustrated. There's lots of feelings of negativity and unresourceful, as we say, and then I had to rewrite that and say, I'm aware that I'm feeling anxious today. I'm aware that I'm feeling angry, I'm aware, I'm aware. And then the final stage was to say, I'm witnessing, I'm witnessing that. I'm feeling this way. And I'd write that out. Now. I wrote that out every day for at least a month, until I was able to have the strengths, to have that conversation in my head.

And at that moment, I was able to do the same thing, but converse in my own head. And I remember so many mornings standing at the kitchen sink, the children had gone to school and the voice it would start. And I would literally turn around and say, F you, I would obviously use the full word, but you know what? I don't wanna hear this anymore. F you leave me alone. And that was all I knew how to do back then, but it started to shift things in me. And I started to be more mindful of who I was being in every moment and what thoughts I was allowing to take over the dashboard of my mind.

I STARTED OVER

Now, roll forward. The end of the year, I decided to close that studio down with no concept of what I was gonna do. I still did some personal training, but I didn't wanna be there anymore. And that was my road to transition. The breakthrough had sort of, I'd already started. I'd had the breakdown and the breakthrough was the road to recovery and the road to discovery for me about where I was going 2016 storm, we do a few different coaching certificates and so on. But at the end of 2016, I did my NLP and timeline therapy coaching. And within a couple of months, it was as if the snow globe had been shaken and things started to settle down. And my brain had felt like it had been completely rewired. Now don't get me wrong. There was work that needed to be done with that.

And I continued to work on my mindset every day, but the point is you can absolutely rewire your mind to create different meaning and create different visions for your life. And that's what I do right now as a high performance coach. So please do give the exercise a go. It was the start of a transformation for me. So we go back to the identity, the ultimate success identity. And we've talked about raising awareness. The second R was removal. The third R is re-installation. So just like I said to you, where we can create that negative belief from a, an experience with a negative, emotional impact, we can create amazing new belief systems by creating higher vibrational, emotional experiences and, and, and doing that more often, we can install new belief systems by put, literally installing new pictures into our brain. We can use visual cues, we can put them around our house.

CREATE NEW BELIEFS

We can reinstall new beliefs by having powerful affirmations and mantras that we can use anchoring with things like music and power poses. We can anchor new belief systems by changing our circle of influence by minding what goes in by watching amazing YouTube clips by following people's podcasts, Tom Bilyeu , Brene brown, Oprah Winfrey, Brendon Burchard Tony Robbins, Mel Robbins, Elizabeth Gilbert. You know, the ed miler, there are so many Zig Zeigler, Jim Rohn Bob Proctor, there are just an unending number of free resources for us to rewire our mind by being mindful of what we are putting in it. Your mind is this incredible infinite sort of machine software that's making meaning and creating our physical reality by what we put in it. So be mindful

REHEARSAL

Of you put in and start to reinstall new beliefs. And then the fourth stage, the fourth R is rehearsal. One of the things that I see being the biggest block is that people come and they join their Lifepreneur academy, or they work with me one to one, or they do one of my courses and they love it. And they do all the removal and they reinstall new beliefs, but they don't change their behavior. And our behavior is what feeds back to our mind about who we are, what our identities, I used to be a smoker. And so it's a very natural and habitual action for me to eat my dinner, put my plate on the floor, pick up my cup of coffee, lighy a cigarette. If I had done the removal about smoking and started to see myself in a new identity as somebody who didn't smoke, but I carried on with the behavior.

I simply would've reinstalled that habitual belief that I'm actually, I'm always gonna be a smoker. And my intention for this series is for you to start seeing yourself in a future identity that feels great, where you are strong and you are fit and you are powerful and you are aligned and you are passionate and you are on a mission and you live on purpose and you're abundant. That's what I believe our lives are all about. And in whichever way, whatever way that looks to you, I can pretty much guarantee that there is a magnificent version of you just waiting for you to open up and accept and allow that identity to come in. So they're the four stages of the mindset that I work through so that you can create your ultimate success identity. Now, I would love to share one other thing. That was a pivotal part of me changing my life back in 2015.

I DECIDED TO NO LONGER BE THAT PERSON

And I remember being in the bath and I'd ordered this book off of I think I'd seen it on Facebook and it was like, the book's free, just pay for your, for your postage. I was like, okay, I'm gonna do that. And I remember devouring this book and I got to this particular page, and it was one of those incidents that I've just told you about. It was an experience with a powerful and positive emotional response. And bam, something instantly changed in me. And that was the moment that I decided I was no longer gonna be that person. Now, it was a longer journey for me. Cause I had to find this all out for myself, which is why I'm sharing it with you now. So you can transition far more quickly because I'm gonna impart my knowledge and my experiences with you. So you can dive straight in this book is the motivation manifesto.

It was the book that introduced me to Brendon Burchard and there is no way I've actually written in the front of the book. I've got it here. And I've written in it April, 2015. If you'd have told me then that just under four years later, I would not only be qualified as a high performance coach with Brendon Burchard where I had to travel, fly to Arizona to do it, but that I would've joined his high end mastermind to take my business and life to the next level. I would've last in your face or punched you one or the other. And it's a reality because this book set me off on a trajectory. The same as that this dear heart that coached me, Jamhilaa, and the decision just got stronger and stronger. That success was the only option that if somebody else could create their life, then if one other person could do it, I could do it.

IF SOMEONE ELSE CAN, YOU CAN

We've got a magical part of our brain that can see somebody else in achieve. And we get to decide, oh, that's possible for me. Or we believe outdated reptilian behavior and thoughts that say, there's something special about them. They were born on the right side of the street. They've got money. They're more clever than me. No, we are all made equal. It's our actions that make us extraordinary. So let me share this page that change my life. Greatness belongs to those who have mastered their internal world. We are all played by doubt, but the great nevertheless find faith and begin. We all feel like delaying action, but the great March on, we all want to avoid vulnerability or act superior over others from time to time. But the great consistently demonstrate openness, humility and love. These few are not lucky. They are simply more intentional and more practiced at defeating their internal demons.

That is why they have so much vitality, motivation and confidence. Enlightenment comes to those who free themselves from self oppression. Let us choose to make that our aim and once and for all and for root out that which holds us back in life. We deserve to be free from all those stirrings within us that compromise our magnificence for this. Let us declare we shall defeat our demons. What a great thing to finish on. I really hope you've enjoyed this episode. I would love for you to try out the exercise that I gave you earlier. Remember those four R for starting to create your new identities, that you can be the person you need to be to do the things you need to do to have the things that you want to have and to create and live your life of purpose and passion and profit. I would love for you to subscribe to this podcast that you can get updates on the newest episodes that are coming out. Please do leave, leave me review. And if you liked it, please share with your friends so that we can make a positive impact on this world. I'll see you in the next episode.
