Shannon opens one of the most confronting passages in Scripture and sits with Jesus’ words in Matthew 7:21–23: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven.”

People who prophesied, cast out demons, and performed miracles still heard Him say, “I never knew you.” It’s possible to do the things of God and yet never truly walk with Jesus. Our lives can be full of signs and wonders and still miss the one thing that truly matters — being known by Jesus.
