Shortly after the election of President Obama, Noltner felt troubled by our nation’s racist rhetoric, which uncovered how much work we have left to do in the wake of justice and humanity. So he did what all good journalists do: he set out to find as many stories as he could. Now, he travels the country in search of people and stories—and he challenges himself to keep showing up to difficult discussions.  How does he get others to open up to him?
