In fact, effects of alcohol are primarily determined by social and cultural factors (rather than the chemical actions of ethanol) and drinking advice changes in countries around the world.
In my conversation with Dr. Amy Pennay (Centre for Alcohol Policy Research, La Trobe University, Australia) Amy shares insights on the relationship between alcohol and culture, as well as how the pandemic has impacted drinking behaviours.
