Severe thunderstorms moved through the DFW area on Tuesday morning. At the worst of it, more than 335,000 homes and businesses went into the dark because of the high winds and heavy rains in Oncor's service area. There were wind gusts get up to 80 miles per hour in some areas. Those high winds caused massive damage to some of the power lines and transformers.
