So contrary to what you may think getting to the point of crashing will not necessarily be the catalyst to change for you to rest. We all think that we will make time for rest, but life seems to speed up with more commitments and resulting responsibilities. Now for many, the lack of rest and the ability to recharge comes from the demands of your job. Now I’m not saying to slack off on what you were hired to do, but to pace yourself. Rest must be intentional in order for us to take a step back and intentionally look at our finances, our health, relationships, and other important aspects of life.
