The garden throughout the history and tradition of Western Civilization has served as a pivotal location for change -- the Garden of Eden, the Garden of Gethsemane, the monastic gardens leading into the Renaissance. Dr. Chris Cooper, Shelby County Extension Agent II; joins host Byron Tyler on this episode of Mid-South View Point. Dr. Cooper is responsible for educational programs for urban and home horticulture, coordinates the Master Gardener program, and hosts the weekly TV series, “The Family Plot: Gardening in the Mid-South”.
