Main Points:
- Emotions are like untamed vibes or waves of the ocean. Emotions move our entire being from one point to another. However, we have no control over our emotions. We do not have enough knowledge of our own self and others around us and for this reasom we take it for granted.
- There are two major complexes: superiority and inferiority. These complexes are formed from the emotions we feel. We feel joy when we achieve something, however, the pain and sadness from continuous failure can cause an emotional trauma in a person thus forming an inferiority complex.
- Those who suffer from superiority complex are not always happy; they often have a very strong ego. His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi says neither complexes are good for you. Emotional complexes are fantasies. You should calculate the situation before enforcing any positive or negative emotions on yourself.
- God has given everybody equal intelligence. However, the brain does not work at its optimum because there are three layers on the soul of the brain: the Subtlety of Ana, aka the Third Eye. When Divine Energy reaches the heart the Third Eye opens up and then you will be able to see the interior and exterior of people.
- What we think and feel is determined by what we pay attention to. Not only do we have the ability to shift our attention away from painful things and give our attention to more pleasant thoughts or memories but as we do this, it inhibits our ability to think about the unpleasant painful things.
