"Men die by suicide 3.5 times more often than women and the rate of suicide is highest in middle-aged, white men in particular... I think it is more difficult for men to get the help they need because society does not encourage them to express their emotions fully...They may be depressed but they wont seek professional help because they want to "take it like a man" because that's what they have been told their whole life."
