How God Views You in Your OCD Struggles

Listen Later

In the midst of intense anxiety & OCD struggles, it can be easy to lose our identity of who God says we are when we struggle. In this episode, Austin will give you 3 ways we view ourselves when we struggle:

  1. 1. Rejection mindset
  2. 2. We are all alone
  3. 3. OCD is who we are

These mindsets are hurtful toward us and how we relate to God. We need to learn to not attach OCD to who we are and what God says about us. Instead, Austin gives you 2 ways to renew your mind on how God views us when we struggle:

  1. 1. A loving father with unconditional acceptance
  2. 2. Not slaves to fear, but sons and daughters (Romans 8:15)

When we continue to renew our minds and view ourselves through the eyes of God's tender, fatherly love for us, we can begin to heal our hearts and be free from OCD.

Take a step out of isolation and toward your personal freedom today!
