How 'Green' Are Our Snow Resorts?

We take a close look at the 'snow resort' industry and well they do in terms of environmental sustainability. We discuss renewable energy ( biomass, solar, wind and hydro) and how they're used for snow making, chairlift operations and restaurant and accommodation operations. We discuss different fuels for transport of large groups of skiers around and to snow resorts, electric car use around resorts and catering sustainability in resort restaurants or cafes. It's a big topic but it's a manageable chat. We contrast which resorts do it well or poorly between European, Japanese, Australian, NZ and North American resorts. It's a big topic but it's a light hearted chat touching on all these issues.
