How Hayley Built Vine Creative Agency from the Ground Up While Embracing Life’s Changes and Challenges
This episode of Yeah The Gals is a lovely chat with one lovely gal—Hayley Sing!
Hayley is the founder and director of Vine PR, a boutique public relations agency located on the Central Coast. Her love of people (and realizing that working as a flight attendant while low-key being afraid of flying wasn’t the best idea) led her to a chance meeting with the owner of a well-known Sydney PR agency over 10 years ago.
That agency worked with celebrities and music artists, and it wasn’t long before Hayley landed an assistant role within the company—where her love for all things PR was born. Nearly a decade later, her experience spans major music festivals locally and internationally, a role as guest relations and events manager at Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak, Bali, and working as an account director in Sydney, collaborating with tech and lifestyle brands across the APAC region.
From social media and digital marketing to the evolving influencer space, PR is always changing. But through Hayley’s passion for building strong relationships and successful campaigns—as well as her love of learning—she has continued working with some of the same clients who have now become longtime friends.
In 2019, with her family journey beginning, Hayley settled down on the Central Coast while still commuting to Sydney for work. After facing pregnancy challenges, she decided to leave her Sydney role and start consulting for local businesses. And without realizing it, Vine PR began to sprout!
Throw in a COVID lockdown, becoming a new mum, life pivots, a side hustle (The Boob Club), and a whole lot of resilience, Hayley has gone on to work with national and international music festivals, restaurants, event spaces, accommodation, health & fitness brands, clubs, and more.
Throughout our conversation, it’s clear that her love of people, openness to trying new things, and positive approach to life and work are key reasons why Vine PR continues to thrive.
