Healthcare, being in need of innovations, is one of the most conservative industries out there. Together with technical and regulatory challenges, this brings us to the point where collaborations happen in slow cycles. Health data is perceived as oxygen for cultivating innovations in the industry. Utilizing and opening data can benefit not only the startups and industrial/academic innovators, but also empower patients and healthcare professionals.
During the panel discussion, we will share the state-of-art on data use, best practices from Nordic countries, and will dive into the topic of how opening up data and creating cross-border collaboratives can help us erase the borders to be at the forefront of innovations in the healthcare space.
