Two months ago, the Dear Nature Podcast writing competition was born. The competition was open to all High School students in Otago and Southland. To enter, students wrote a 1500 word, narrative story about an important scientific discovery. After over 25,000 words worth of stories, a winner has been decided.
Thank you to The Otago Museum, Bird Shirts NZ, The University Bookshop, Gore PaperPlus, The Royal Albatross Centre, Monarch Wildlife Cruises, and the Dunedin City of Literature, for sponsoring this competition and providing fantastic prizes for the talented students who entered.
