In this episode, Lucy Nguyen joins me to discuss her journey from teacher to ID. We talk about her experience being an ID at a non-profit organization and also shares her thoughts on the benefits of pursuing an ID master's degree. Lucy's story is unique in that it begins in Vietnam near the end of the war, and includes a father who was sent to a re-education camp; an escape from Vietnam on a boat that was robbed by pirates on its way to Thailand; and finally, a brief stay in a refugee camp before obtaining papers to travel to America.
