Our special guest today, Amber Spiegel found her true passion in decorating cakes and cookies by combining her artistic skills and her love for baking. She begins by giving us her background including how she comes from a family of artists and going to culinary school and how she got to work at Wilton for two years before venturing out on her own with the support of her family.

Amber encourages us to find our passion and chase it with laser focus. She advises us that it takes a lot of time, a lot of practice, and patience to perfect your skills but when you are passionate about it, you will wake up every day and do it. She reckons that her biggest investment has been time. 

Amber’s recipe for success is being passionate about what she does and being super consistent. She has been decorating cakes and cookies almost every day for the last 12 years. She finds it so much fun and loves it. This is what drives her success.
