I wanted to get into duck hunting almost from the start. The problem was I didn't know a single person who duck hunted and middle Tennessee isn’t exactly known for it’s duck hunting.

So late 2024 I did something that felt a little embarrassing… I posted on a local hunting Facebook group and asked strangers to take me. One guy responded.

This episode covers the whole story cover my two seasons of trying to duck hunt, three hunts, and a lot of time where nothing went the way I planned. I got ghosted. I went solo in December when nobody would commit. And eventually, over a year later, I finally got my first duck on a drawn public land blind with a group of guys I'd never met before.
