Welcome to the very first episode of our podcast! These are the kinds of conversations we have on dates, in the car between kid activities or when we're brushing our teeth at the end of the night. Some of them are lighthearted and funny. Some of them are more serious than that. Our hope is that you see a bit of yourself in the ups and downs of our life and realize you're not alone in this world.

Because this is episode 1, it only made sense to share the story of how we met (and all the times we should have met but didn't!). And apparently our first date was the worst first date ever in the history of first dates in the entire world, and yet we managed to still get married.

Dave and Misty live in Oklahoma City with their three kids Caden, Maison and Addison. After being married almost 30 years and three kids almost out of the house, life seems to be anything but boring. Dave serves on staff at a local church but also enjoys creating content online including documenting his midlife crisis on YouTube in a vlog-style format. Misty is a registered nurse and can pretty much beat anyone in a mean game of Uno.
