How do YOU read the Bible?!

Today's episode will be about How I Read the Bible

Highlights:

1)  Before you read do the 4P’s:

      Prevention: Make a safe space for you to read & study + remove distractions

      Prepare: Grab pencil/pen + notebook = Write notes *find a translation that works for you (KJV, NIV, NLT)*

      Position: Sit upright (if in bed) + refocus your body

      Pray: Ask for direction/guidance and understanding for the days read

2) Benefits of reading:

      Gain different perspectives + God’s characteristics

      Share and gain wisdom to

          - Help solve or prevent issues (Past/ Present/ Future)

          - Understand God better

          - See our value in God 

3) Digest what you’ve read by:

- Rereading

- Research: Visual maps, Background checks, History, Find Commentary 

- Compare translations (KJV, NIV, NLT, ) 

4) Apply and Seek:

In this last step try and seek throughout the day where and what God has revealed Himself to you in the verses you've read previously or currently.
