Whatsoever: Used for emphasis to indicate that there is no amount or degree of something.
A great deal of something: A large amount or quantity of something.
Undergo / past tense: underwent: To experience or endure something, especially something unpleasant or arduous.
To strive: To make great efforts to achieve or obtain something.
To save face: To avoid embarrassment or humiliation, especially in a challenging situation.
To take something where I left off: To resume or continue something from the point where it was previously stopped or interrupted.
