When I restarted my fitness journey this year, I didn’t find my plan in a program or a gym. I found it in 1-minute videos on Instagram.
I never thought Instagram Reels would help me rebuild my strength — but those tiny, snack-sized videos were exactly what I needed. They showed me new ways to move, let me test what felt good, and helped me build a collection of simple exercises that actually fit my body and my day.
I shifted from following someone else’s perfect routine, to mixing and matching from my own saved list — a few minutes for my neck, a few for my feet, a little arm work. That’s how this version of my movement plan began.
