How is Good Friday “good”? It seems wrong to call the day that Jesus died a brutal death “good.”
Yet, that brutal death on a cross was how Jesus saved you and me. “He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
I hope you can listen to this short video devotion about Good Friday. There is no greater day to see Jesus’ great love for you.
God bless your Good Friday.
