Lawyers working in-house account for around a quarter of the UK’s practicing solicitors. Yet, understanding the difference between in-house and private practice can be challenging.

In this episode, we’re joined by Polly West, Senior Legal Counsel at Harrods. Starting off her legal career at Taylor Wessing, Polly later transitioned to an in-house role. She shares her experience of working in-house, sheds light on the nuances that set it apart from private practice, and gives her perspective on the old adage that working in-house is the ‘easy’ option.
