Today we sit down and talk with ScHoolboy Q’s road manager and one of my good homies, Ctupidgenius aka Akeem Smith aka KEEM. Keem has been working with Top Dawg Entertainment and several of the artist on that label for the past 5 years and counting. This dude has been through it all, including getting shot while on tour and the mother fucker survived… In this interview we not only talk about that event, but we discuss how Keem went from working at TSA at the LAX airport to traveling the world with one of the biggest rappers. We talk about his innate goal to help connect the dots for upcoming musicians and artists, and he even offers steps to creators on how they should approach a tour manager to give music, photograph shows, and more…. His mindset and work ethic is through the roof, I really believe this dude has so much credible insight on the industry and can offer plenty of advice for musicians, videographers, photographers, and potential road managers.
