With financial and structural ruin plaguing the UK after WW2 as well as a loss of their empire, the UK needed to forge new relevance in the world.

Using sophisticated financial wizardry the City of London has developed a web of financial flow loopholes that have served to facilitate extraordinary illicit black money flows.

Prem Sikka is a veteran of the corporate world. Practising as a corporate accountant for some of the largest corporations in the world. He is also an Emeritus Professor of Accounting at Sheffield University and Essex University. Since October 2020, is a newly minted member of the UK House of Lords.

Klisman Sits down with Lord Sikka to discuss the shady world of financial crime and how London has been at the centre of a global web of it all. He discusses the effects this has had on society and answers some very difficult questions as to how to combat it and what individuals can do to bring about a more equitable society.
