An analysis of official NHS statistics has revealed that the drop in patients waiting to be seen was achieved only by removing thousands of patients from the waiting list through a process known as “validation”. The government denies any wrongdoing. Petrie wants to know if you've ever had to wait for an NHS appointment, and if so, how long?
Head of Health at the Institute for Public Policy, Seb Rees, goes over these findings and discusses the accuracy of them and the implications they have.
