On today's episode Michaela interviews the one and only Alison Conklin.  When Alison was 14, she lost my mother... suddenly. Before she died, she had been an avid photographer and Alison dove into her mother's craft as a way to heal and honor her.  She fell in love with viewing the world through her lens.   She is the definition of being both strength and struggle and thriving through both.  

Alison says "Life matters. I want my photographs to evoke feelings and offer anyone who sees them some connection to something within their hearts or something buried in their mind. I want my photographs to connect people with themselves and their lives in deeper ways."
