Higher gasoline prices won't keep Texans from hitting the road for the first travel weekend of the summer

Triple A Texas 3.7 million people will leave home to travel at least 50 miles, starting a week from Thursday to the following Monday, May 25.

That number is slightly higher than last year. It's more than 6 percent higher than 2019
