I use to eat 5 or 6 meals a day because I thought it would speed up my metabolism. But what it really did was cause me to get use to eating when I wasn't hungry and mess up my hunger cues. When I started to focus on eating only when I was hungry it was surprisingly difficult for me to identify what true hunger felt like. It blows my mind how so many of us, myself included, disregard our hunger and eat out of habit, boredom or simply because something tastes good. In this podcast I talk about how I went from eating lots of small meals and snacks to eating 2-3 larger meals and feeling so much better.
