It's a real dilemma, right? How much soft tissue management should you be doing on an average implant case? On one hand, many dentists call for a tuck and roll on nearly every case. On the other, WHY??? Do we need to generate more soft tissue than the patient had naturally?
I don't think so.
Instead, we should refer to the old adage: "bone sets the tone, the tissue is the issue." If we get the implant in the right location and do our job properly, we'll have very little trouble with that tissue.
