Books have been written on this topic and I don't think I'll cover all the pertinent pieces here, but I've assembled a few thoughts. For starters, try asking other people in your field what they charge. Next ask yourself how much you need to make off a deal to hit your revenue goal. Third, ask your potential client what their budget is and see if they'll share.
