Women Who Podcast - How to start, run and grow your podcast

How often should I release a new podcast episode?

Listen Later

How often should I release a new podcast episode? Do I really have to do two a week? Can my podcast be made in batches?

This episode will help you decide.

If you’re a regular listener to Women Who Podcast you will know that I publish a new episode at least once a week. With the addition of these mini episodes that cadence increases to twice a week.

There are some podcasts which publish every day and others that come out once a month.

There’s no right or wrong frequency but what you want to get out of your podcast will help you decide how often you want to publish.

Here are some things to consider:

  • Consistency
  • Quality over quantity
  • Understand your audience
  • What is your content type?
  • What resources do you have?
  • Would seasons work for you?
  • Experiment and adjust.
  • Industry norms

  • If you have liked what you’ve heard so far and you want to learn more from me then the Women Who Podcast membership is open. It’s a low cost membership aimed at making podcasting easy for all members.

This is for anyone who wants a podcast but struggles with the tech, the time and the confidence to put your podcast out there.
