Omar Morillo is a talented baseball player and business management student at Point Park University. Omar’s story is one of resilience, sacrifice, and determination. Originally from Venezuela, he and his family migrated to the U.S. in 2020, seeking a better future amid political and economic challenges.

Adjusting to a new culture, learning English, and overcoming struggles both on and off the field wasn’t easy. But through hard work and mental toughness, Omar transformed from a struggling freshman to a standout student-athlete. In this interview, he shares his journey, the challenges he faced as an international student-athlete, and the mindset that helped him succeed.
