Home ownership is increasingly difficult across the country with many young Australians simply giving up at the idea of saving up a deposit. Vulnerable households are further from the services they need and the identity of our towns and cities are changing as essential workers are being priced out of the inner suburbs. Under the current investment model for the housing system communities are being defined by who can afford to live in them instead of the communities created for generations.
