There are three imputations by which God is the “imputer”

The imputation of Adam’s sin upon each of his descendants as our representative.

The imputation of man’s sin upon Christ Jesus as he hung on the cross, bearing the wrath of God on behalf of all who believe in the person and works of Christ.

The imputation of Christ’s righteousness to those who believe and put their trust fully in Christ.
