These days, mums and dads both have careers. And the assumption is that bigger must be better. More must be better. More money, more status, more recognition, more of whatever’s on offer. But 'more’ isn’t always better. Only ‘better’ is better. And our kids don't care if we make $60k or $160k; not if the second option means they never see us - or when they do, we're too stressed to pay attention.
