Did you know your genes actually influence your political preferences? Studies have shown that the genetics of our ancestors is about 50% of the influence behind our Liberal or Conservative leanings. Just when we thought we were thinking for ourselves, it turns out that nature has at least as much to do with whether you are a Repulican or Democrat as the influence of your environment and education. As a matter of fact, your genes will influence the environment and education you choose, thereby reinforcing your natural leaning! Desiree shares information to help all of us better recognize that in some cases asking someone to "change their mind" is as impossible as asking them to change the color of their eyes.
