In this video, I describe the plasma protein systems derived from the liver: the coagulation cascade, fibrinolytic system, complement cascade and kinin-kallikrein system.

I emphasise the interrelationships between these systems. The final outcome is 1) a fine balance between thrombosis and haemostasis 2) inducing a pro-inflammatory state 3) enabling angiogenesis
