Dr. Manfred Stapff has over 30 years of experience as a physician in internal medicine and in the pharmaceutical industry. After several years of practicing medicine at the German Air Force and at the polyclinic of the University of Munich, he switched to clinical research at MSD Sharp & Dohme. He held various senior positions in the USA at top companies such as Merck & Co, Forest Laboratories (now Allergan), with a focus on clinical development, regulatory affairs, and global medical operations. As Chief Medical Officer at TriNetX in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he was jointly responsible for the development of what is now the largest research network based on global real-world data (RWD). He was also president of the LG Chem Life Sciences Innovation Center in Cambridge, which he developed as the U.S. research and development arm of LG's South Korean pharmaceutical division. Dr. Stapff's expertise lies in the areas of clinical trials, drug development, regulatory affairs, quality management, and real-world studies.
