What if science, history, language, theology, and artificial intelligence are not separate searches for truth, but different forms of the same task? This episode explores the central argument of Reality Constrains the Reconstruction: finite knowers never receive reality in full, so knowledge depends on reconstructing it from evidence, testimony, language, memory, experiment, and revelation. The test of a good reconstruction is not elegance alone, but whether it preserves the invariant relations demanded by reality. We examine projection, incomplete information, historical continuity, inferential lineage, Catholic Invariant Grammar, and the Filioque as a case study in how apparent contradiction can dissolve through faithful translation. The result is a unified account of inquiry: reality comes first, representation comes second, and truth is discovered by correcting our models rather than asking reality to conform to them.
