CHRISTMAS 2013 - Our natural tendency is to think that any element of struggle in our walk with Jesus is somehow an unnatural thing. But it isn’t. Paul simply does not even recognize a Christianity that isn’t like fighting a fight and running a race. He knows nothing of a coasting kind of Christianity. The faith is infinitely satisfying. It is a great producer of joy. Jesus said it is like buried treasure or a pearl of great price. But it is never easy.
