The SAT words which I used today are:
Sobbed: cry noisily, making loud, convulsive gasps.
Toady: a person who behaves obsequiously to someone important.
Tenuous: very weak
Loch: an arm of the sea, especially when narrow or partially landlocked.
Debacle: a sudden and ignominious failure; a fiasco.
Decrying: publicly denounce.
Clamorous: making a loud and confused noise.
Grandiose: impressive or magnificent in appearance or style, especially pretentiously so.
Aura: the distinctive atmosphere or quality that seems to surround and be generated by a person, thing, or place.
Espied: caught sight of.
Hue: a color or shade.
Obstinate: stubbornly refusing to change one's opinion or chosen course of action, despite attempts to persuade one to do so.
