There has been a dispute in the church regarding how we should baptize people. Is it in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit? Or is it simply in the name of Jesus alone? I make reference to a few things, including an early church document called the Didache, written sometime between 70AD and 125AD. This is not a Roman Catholic document, but was adopted by the Catholic church when it came to understanding and observing some of the sacraments in the church. Most importantly, I utilize scripture as my defense to the position of baptizing in the name of the Father, the Som and the Holy Spirit.
