Genesis 4:1–16 

When it comes to giving a reason for why our world is the way it is, the answers our world grasps for–lack of education, wealth disparities, trauma, inability for all to live authentically–all fail to provide both an explanation and a way out. But the Bible offers a different answer: sin. If we come to terms with the gravity of our own sin, then we'll be able to see why Christianity is truly good news for us and for the world.
