the '2026 is the new 2016' trend has emphasized the evolution of social media for me, & I realised how its become more about polarising our beliefs and separating us than connecting us. This has to do with the rise of short-form media (reels, shorts, TikToks) - a very unconscious form of consuming.
In this episode, I discuss the importance of unlearning duality & remembering the polarisation of nature (two sides to every coin - still one thing, which cannot exist without both sides), and that a lack of direct human interaction does not mean a lack of consequences to your word choices. Further, I also discuss ways in which we can prevent this from happening & take social media back to the days of 2016! haha, so stay tuned ;)
