Sinan Aral discusses his book "The Hype Machine," and how social media disrupts our elections, our economy, and our health. Sinan is a Professor of Management at MIT and Director of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy. He currently serves on the Advisory Boards of the Alan Turing Institute, the British National Institute for Data Science in London, and the Centre for Responsible Media Technology and Innovation in Bergen, Norway.
