When I first called Deepali to cover her story for a song, we had planned for a motivational song to compliment her recent fitness routine. Hence we decided to record the jamming session in the @get_carvd gym

But as we started talking, stories about her father fascinated me and sparked an idea,

“What if we write a song where Dipali writes a letter to her late father, sharing stories about how her life & thinking has evolved in the last few years ?”

&

I couldn’t stop my brain from instantly switching the genre of the song when @rjdipali said…

“Maari life bhi YJHD na bunny jevi thai gayi ti, udna, dodna, girna, pan ave routine game chhe, loved ones jode aakho day spend karvo bau game chhe, and I always feel my dad is around me”

So we turned the popular dialogue from YJHD into lyrics for this song,

“Mein udna bhi chaahti thi,

Dodna bhi chaahti thi,

Girna bhi chaahti thi,

Ab…..”
