Most aspects of “normal” life - including visits with friends and family, the daily commute to school and work, in-person events and conferences - have been put on hold in the wake of COVID-19. Climate change, however, is not one of them. Since the start of extensive temperature data collection in 1880, the 10 hottest years on record have all occurred within the past 15 years. 2019 was the second hottest year on record and 2020 may well follow suit. The data is evident and climate change remains of import to policymakers and investors alike, despite the current global public health crisis.
